Teens Rob Woman at Knifepoint in Bootle
Detectives are hunting two youths after a brazen street robbery in Bootle on Sunday night.
Silver Item Threat Used to Snatch Cash
At around 9.15pm on 19 May, a woman in her 30s was approached on Litherland Road by two slim, white males on a grey mountain bike. One flashed a silver item tucked in his waistband and demanded cash. The pair made off with a small amount of money heading towards Strand Road.
Suspects Spotted – Police Seek Witnesses
- Both suspects are described as late teens, wearing dark clothing.
- One has a distinctive pock-marked face.
Detective Inspector Catherine Walsh said: “Thankfully the victim was unharmed, but to be threatened in the street over a few pounds is shocking. We have reassured the victim and are determined to catch those responsible.”
She urged anyone who was near Litherland Road around 9pm on Sunday and saw suspicious activity to come forward. Dashcam footage or local CCTV could be crucial.
