Vectis FM’s Star-Studded Variety Show Smashes Records and Raises Over £1,100!
Community favourite Vectis FM has stepped up its game, launching its first-ever live variety show at the Riverside Centre – and it was a full house from start to finish. The event pulled in more than £1,100 to help keep the station alive and kicking.

The night was packed with top-notch local talent, hosted by none other than comedy impressionist and Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Drew Cameron. The dazzling lineup included dance, music, magic, and laughs, promising something for everyone.

Under the expert direction of Sarah Scotcher, the acts wowed the crowd. Vectis Radio Station Manager Ian 1 raved, “The Island talent on display was amazing, and audience feedback was equally amazing! With Vectis FM heading towards its tenth year, the funds raised are absolutely crucial. Ian added, “Providing a platform for local talent has always been at the heart of Vectis 1, and this event perfectly captured that spirit.”
The successful Variety Show was organised by Vectis presenters and power couple Maggie and Kelvin Currie, proving that teamwork really does make the dream work.
