Connor Hobbs Dead in Shocking South Molton Crash
The family of 22-year-old Connor Hobbs has paid a heartbreaking tribute after he died in a two-vehicle collision just days before his 23rd birthday.
Tragic Crash Details
Connor Hobbs was fatally injured in a crash on Monday, 12 May 2025, at around 2:55pm. The collision happened on an unclassified road at Kingsland Barton near South Molton.
The smash involved a black Honda Civic and a brown Scania HGV. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, Connor, who was driving the Honda Civic, was pronounced dead.

Connor was a cherished member of the close-knit Devon community at South Molton, which is now united in mourning his loss.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses
Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the fatal crash. They urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
“Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full facts of this collision,” a police spokesperson confirmed.
