Pedestrian Left Fighting for Life After Late-Night Crash on Coastbound Carriageway
A man in his 40s was seriously injured after being hit in a live lane near the Old Bexley Lane junction. The crash happened shortly after 10pm on Friday, 25 March 2022.
Emergency services rushed to the scene. The pedestrian was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for anyone who saw a man walking near the area before the crash to come forward. Drivers who were in the vicinity are urged to check dashcams for vital footage.
