Man Stabbed in Late-Night Attack in Hawkhill Place
A 31-year-old man was stabbed in a shocking incident just after midnight on Sunday, April 17. The victim was approached by two unknown men while crossing Hawkhill Place around 12.30am.
Victim Treated and Released
The man suffered a stab wound and was rushed to Crosshouse Hospital. He has since been treated and discharged, reports confirm.
Suspect Description Released
One attacker is described as white, about 5ft 8in tall, slim build, with a Scottish accent. He wore a black skip hat, black shell jacket, and blue jeans. No description is available for the second suspect.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Constable Fraser Murray of Saltcoats Police Station said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone with information to come forward.
“We would be keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard a disturbance in the area or anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.
“Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident 0279 of 17 April or call anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
