Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Marc Bowes said: “This is a tragic case and my thoughts are with Kirstie’s family at this time.”
“Our early investigations show Kirstie’s body had been in the property for several weeks.”
“A post mortem will determine the cause of death. Specialist officers are supporting her family.”
“We appeal to anyone who saw Kirstie or noticed anything suspicious around Stanhall Mews from mid January 2022 onwards to come forward – no detail is too small.”
“We’re especially keen to hear from those who visited the Catalina garage on Bradford Road during this time.”
“Scenes remain at the property, Cumberland Road, and Beancroft Road in Castleford. Local officers are boosting patrols to reassure the community.”
