Daytime Car Attack Shocks West Kent Motorist!
Man Ambushed on Colebrook Road
At around 11am on Monday 20 February 2023, a driver cruising along Colebrook Road had his journey violently interrupted. Just after the junction with South View Road, a dark Ford Mondeo pulled out and stopped right in front of him.
Thugs Strike: Punch and Theft in Broad Daylight
The Mondeo’s driver leapt out and punched the victim through his open window. Meanwhile, a second man opened a door, snatched a bag, and both suspects sped off in the Mondeo.
Suspects Described, Police Seek Witnesses
- Both men are white, in their late 20s to early 30s.
- One had ginger or blond hair, wearing a blue T-shirt and shorts.
- The other had short dark hair, clad in a black hooded top and blue tracksuit.
Detective Constable Chris Welham of West Kent CID urged the public: “We’re investigating this brazen assault and theft. Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage should come forward. Your help is vital.”
