Police Re-Launch Hunt for Satnam Singh’s Killer – £10,000 Reward Up for Grabs
Detectives are begging for fresh leads in the 2017 murder of Satnam Singh in Hayes. The 45-year-old was savagely attacked three years ago, and a hefty £10,000 reward remains in place for info that snags his killer.
Brutal Baseball Bat Attack on Quiet Night
It happened on Monday, 6 March 2017, around 10.20pm. Satnam was walking with a friend near Atlee Road, close to Ayles Road, when trouble struck. A witness saw a man on a mobile phone stalking the pair along Ayles Road. Suddenly, a silver car pulled up and a white male jumped out, swinging a baseball bat at Satnam and his friend.
The attacker sped off in the car after the assault. Satnam was rushed to hospital but tragically died on 23 May 2017 due to a head injury and bronchial pneumonia.
No Arrests, No Answers – Family Still Waiting
Satnam’s 28-year-old friend escaped with minor injuries. Police have yet to make an arrest. Detective Inspector Andy McDonald, leading the probe, said:
“Three years on from Satnam’s death, the investigation remains very active. We’re calling on anyone with information to come forward.”
He added, “Satnam’s uncle, who spoke openly after the attack, sadly passed away without seeing justice. His family remain devastated and desperate to know why Satnam was killed and who did it.”
Time Isn’t Healing – Police Hope for New Witnesses
DI McDonald urged those who may have held back in 2017 to speak up now. He said:
“If anyone witnessed anything that night, it’s time to step forward. A substantial reward is available for information that leads to a conviction.”
