Double Stabbing Horror in Lambeth: Two Dead, Six Arrested

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched a murder probe after a man and woman were found fatally stabbed in Lambeth.

Grim Discovery on Dorset Road

Police rushed to Dorset Road, SW8, just after 4pm on Wednesday, 1 April following welfare concerns for a man. Inside the property, officers and paramedics found a 59-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman suffering multiple stab wounds.

Despite life-saving attempts, both were pronounced dead at the scene. The pair are believed to have known each other. Their next of kin have been informed.

Six Arrested at Scene on Murder Suspicion

In a dramatic twist, five men aged in their 40s to late 50s, along with a woman in her early 50s, were all arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. Police say they are not currently searching for anyone else in connection with the killings.

Met Chief Detectives Plea for Help

“I understand this is an extremely shocking incident for residents and the wider community,” said Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard, leading the investigation.

“We believe many involved are from South American communities. We urgently appeal for anyone with information to come forward. Your support is vital to solve this tragedy.”
