Man Caught on CCTV After Alleged Groping at Liverpool Nightclub
A man is under police scrutiny after allegedly inappropriately touching a woman on the dance floor at Tess Riley’s bar on Great Charlotte Street. The incident happened around 10.15pm on Monday, 18 July.
Quick Action by Staff and Police Hunt Underway
Staff at Tess Riley’s swiftly removed the man from the premises. He then made off to St John’s Shopping Centre. Police have since launched a thorough investigation, reviewing CCTV footage and gathering witness statements.
Detectives have now released CCTV images of a man they believe holds crucial information to the case.
“This was a disgraceful attack on a woman,” said Detective Inspector Chris Saidi. “I would like to reassure the public that incidents like this are rare.”
“The victim has been left shaken and distressed. We are taking this very seriously and urge the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, to come forward.”
