Kent Police Hunt Man Spotted with Possible Firearm in Pelham Road
Kent Police were scrambled at 6.10am on Saturday, 2 September 2023, after reports of a man seen carrying what looked like a firearm in the Pelham Road area. Despite a huge search operation, no one matching the suspect’s description was found.
Investigation Underway
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Rabey confirmed officers are digging deeper, following multiple leads to track down the man. He said:
“An investigation to establish the full circumstances is ongoing and our officers are continuing to explore several lines of enquiry to identify and locate the suspect.”
Police Appeal for Information
Kent Police have urged the public to help identify the man caught on camera. DCI Rabey added:
“It is important we speak to the man pictured and I would urge anyone who recognises him or has any other information to call us on 999, quoting reference number 46/157727/23.”
