Cops Release CCTV of Burglary Suspect in Orpington
Detectives have dropped CCTV footage of a man they want to quiz over a brazen burglary in Orpington, Bromley.
83-Year-Old Woman Confronted During Break-In
The shocking raid happened on Friday 19 June at 8.45pm at a home on Wateringbury Close. The 83-year-old victim was inside when she heard a bang and came face-to-face with a male intruder.
The suspect reportedly asked, “Do you want any work done?” When the woman said no, he turned and left. Officers believe he forced his way in through the front door.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
- White male
- Skinny build
- Balding brown/ginger hair
- Wearing light brown jacket, jeans, blue cleaning gloves, and a face mask
No arrests have been made yet.
Detective Constable Ben Briselden of Bromley CID said: “We have today released CCTV footage of a man I wish to speak to in connection to the burglary and I am appealing for the public’s help to identify his whereabouts.”
