Urgent Search Underway for Missing Dementia Patient in Finsbury Park
Police and family are desperate to find Peter, who vanished without a trace from his Rosecroft home in Finsbury Park on Saturday evening. The person suffers from dementia and other serious health issues, making his disappearance extremely worrying and out of character.
Last Seen on CCTV Near Wood Green
Peter was last spotted on CCTV at 1:37pm that day, near the junction of Finsbury Road and Trinity Road. His direction of travel was towards Wood Green High Road, an area he is known to visit regularly. Despite extensive searches, no further sightings have been confirmed.
Peter’s Description and Appeal for Help
- White, slim build
- Balding grey hair and beard
- Height: approx. 5’10” to 5’11”
- Wearing black jeans, yellow-black striped shirt, dark grey jacket, black shoes
- Wears glasses and speaks with a Newcastle accent
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley, leading the investigation, said:
“The longer Peter remains missing, the greater our fear for his safety. He has no personal belongings or medication with him and is badly affected by dementia. The CCTV shows he was alone and appeared disoriented. We urgently need anyone who saw him or the person who passed him by to come forward.”
