Teen Girl Sexually Assaulted at Wheldrake Sports Field
North Yorkshire Police are hunting for witnesses after a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at Wheldrake Recreation Centre’s sports field in York. The attack happened at around 3.15am on Sunday, November 15.
Police Urge Locals to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for anyone who was near the sports fields or surrounding streets between 2am and 4.30am to step up. If you have dashcam footage or any information that could help, police want to hear from you.
Scene Guard in Place as Investigation Continues
A scene guard has been set up at the location, and enquiries are ongoing as police work to track down the culprit.
