Brutal Punch on Queenstown Road Victim Left Bloodied

Just after 6.20pm on 24 June 2022, a woman walking along Queenstown Road, SW8, was suddenly hit hard on her right side. When she looked up, a man locked eyes with her before landing a punch straight to her face. The assault left her with bleeding and facial injuries.

Good Samaritans Step In as Attacker Lingers

Two cyclists quickly came to the woman’s aid. The attacker tried to approach her again, but bystanders intervened. He then hung around the scene before strolling off towards Prince Wales Drive.

Police Hunt Man Caught on Camera

  • Suspect described as Black, around 5ft 8in, medium build, in his 20s.
  • Captured on video and photos loitering after the attack.

Detectives from South West CID have released these images, urging the public to help identify the man and come forward.

Detective Constable Cameron Barclay said: “This was a violent, unprovoked attack that left the victim shocked and in considerable pain. Thanks to those who stepped in to help. We want to speak to the man in these images. If you recognise him, or if you are him, please contact us immediately.”
