Police Hunt Woodland Rapist Two Years After Attack
The victim tells of a chilling attack in a woodland area during June or July 2019. She was approached by a stranger who raped her.
Suspect Description Released
The attacker is described as a white man in his late 40s, average build, standing 5ft 5in tall with distinctive light-coloured eyes.
Police Launch Appeal Over Cold Case
The victim came forward in October 2021, prompting Maidstone’s Vulnerability Investigation Team to launch a probe. Detective Inspector Richard Pringle said:
“While this incident happened two years ago, the victim has now helped us create a computer-generated image of the suspect. We urge anyone who recognises him or has information to get in touch.”
