Police Hunt Two Men After Teen Rape Near Peckham Rye Station

Just after midnight on Friday, January 14, police launched an urgent investigation after an 18-year-old woman was raped near Peckham Rye Railway Station.

It happened around 10.20pm the night before when the victim was walking alone down an alleyway off Elm Grove. Two men, both clad in dark clothes, gloves, and face coverings, suddenly approached from behind. They forced her towards nearby Holly Grove and attacked her.

Dark-Clad Suspects Still At Large

  • Both suspects wore gloves and face coverings.
  • Victim is receiving specialist support.
  • No arrests made yet – police scouring crime scene including parts of Peckham Rye Station.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Superintendent Clair Kelland said: “This is a fast-moving investigation with an extensive crime scene. We urge anyone near Peckham Rye Station between 10pm and 11pm on January 13 to come forward if they saw anything.”
