Police seize car linked to Ashley Dale’s brutal murder in Old Swan
Grey Hyundai i30 recovered for forensic tests
Detectives have seized a grey Hyundai i30 from their investigation into the murder of Ashley Dale in Old Swan last August. The vehicle, which was previously circulated to the public, is now undergoing forensic examination to uncover vital clues.
Ashley shot in her own garden
Officers rushed to a Leinster Road address at 12:40pm on Sunday 21 August after reports raised concerns for a woman. Emergency services found Ashley in the rear garden with a gunshot wound. She was rushed to hospital but tragically died shortly after.
Police plea for witnesses in Dovecot and Page Moss areas
Detective Chief Inspector Cath Cummings, Senior Investigating Officer, said: “Although this vehicle has now been seized, we’re still keen to speak to anyone who saw its movements. We believe that the car was driven in the Dovecot and Page Moss areas, including Pilch Lane, on the night of Ashley’s murder.”
“We urge local residents to come forward if they saw the car, know who was driving, witnessed pick-ups, or have CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage.”
