Man, 25, Arrested Over Fatal London Shooting
A 25-year-old man was arrested in south London in the early hours of Tuesday, 14 May, on suspicion of murdering 26-year-old Jazmel Patterson-Low. He remains in police custody.
Shots Fired in Croydon Dispute
Detective Inspector Martin confirmed a violent dispute erupted just after 2am, leading to shots being fired. Several people are being questioned to piece together what happened.
At around 2:30am on Saturday, 11 May, medical staff alerted police after Jazmel, suffering from a gunshot wound, was dropped off at St Thomas’ Hospital in a private car.
Victim Dies Despite Emergency Care
Despite urgent treatment, Jazmel sadly died shortly after 3am. The 26-year-old from Lambeth is the latest victim of violent crime in the area. His family is receiving support from specially trained officers.

The 123 Specialist Crime Command is leading the murder investigation. Police urge anyone with information or footage to call 101 quoting reference 884/11May. Alternatively, witnesses can report anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
