Man Arrested Over Peckham Bleeding Death in Broad Daylight

A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in Gillingham, Kent, on the evening of Thursday, 23 December. At the same address, a 37-year-old man and woman were also held for assisting an offender. All three remain in police custody as the probe ramps up.

Tragic Stabbing Outside Peckham Barbershop

Jobari Gooden, 37, was fatally stabbed in broad daylight on Friday, 17 December. Police responded at around 1.15pm to reports of a violent attack outside a barbershop on Choumert Road, SE15. Found with stab wounds on nearby Rye Lane, Jobari was rushed to hospital but tragically died.

Post-Mortem Confirms Fatal Abdominal Stabs

A post-mortem on Sunday, 19 December revealed Jobari died from stab wounds to the abdomen. His grieving family is being supported by specialist officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
