Man Stabbed Twice in Chilling North London Attacks
Police are hunting a ruthless assailant after a man was stabbed twice in separate attacks just weeks apart in North London.
First Attack: Stabbed in the Head Outside Tottenham Lane Shop
On Friday, 19 February, a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the head as he entered a shop on Tottenham Lane, N8. Two men in a car approached him before one lunged and inflicted the injury. The attacker then fled the scene. Emergency crews treated the victim at the scene before rushing him to hospital.
Second Attack: Stabbed in the Arm on Hermiston Avenue
Less than a month later, on Tuesday, 16 March, the same victim was walking along Hermiston Avenue, N8 when the suspect pulled up beside him again in a car. The man exited the vehicle and stabbed the victim in the arm before speeding away. Once again, hospital treatment was required.
Police Appeal for Help
“We have a very clear image of a man we wish to speak to in connection with these assaults,” said Detective Constable Owen Magner from Wood Green police. “We believe people will recognise him and come forward with his name.”
“The victim is lucky not to have suffered worse but is understandably shaken. We urge anyone with information to call 101 quoting CAD 5789/16MAR, email [email protected], or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
