Woman, 32, Found Dead in Elgin – Police Launch Murder Probe
Detectives have opened a murder investigation after a 32-year-old woman was found dead at a property on Anderson Drive, Elgin. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7:20pm on Thursday, 16 November 2023, but the woman was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Detective Superintendent Lorna Ferguson said: “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and friends during this horrific time. Specially trained officers will continue to support them as we push forward with the investigation.”
She added the case is a top priority: “We are working hard to understand exactly what happened and to find the person responsible.”
