Major Crash Closes A259
The A259 is currently closed following a road traffic collision at 3:50pm. Emergency services are on the scene tackling the incident.
Bus Services Hit – Brighton & Hove Routes Diverted
Brighton & Hove buses are rerouted due to the closure. Routes BH12A and BH12X are now diverted from 1 via Falmer Road, A27, and A26.
- BH12A will resume the usual route at Newhaven Retail Park.
- BH12X will continue normally from Denton Corner.
- BH12 buses will run between Brighton and Newhaven Lower Place only.
- All diversions apply both ways.
Commuters are urged to plan ahead and expect delays while services remain disrupted.
