Fatal Crash Shuts M6 Between J4 and J3a
Emergency services rushed to a horror three-vehicle smash on the M6 this morning. West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 7:13am after a car, van, and lorry collided between junctions 4 and 3a.
Multiple Emergency Crews Respond
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car, and a BASICS Emergency Doctor all raced to the scene. A spokesman said:
“On arrival, crews found a car, a van and a lorry had been in a collision. The driver of the car was the only person injured.”
Tragic Outcome for Car Driver
The middle-aged man was given advanced life support at the scene. He was rushed on blue lights to University Hospital coventry/" title="Coventry" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Coventry & Warwickshire, with a critical care paramedic travelling alongside.
Sadly, the man was confirmed dead shortly after arriving at A&E.
