Met Police Hunt Dangerous Fugitive After Brutal Assault
The Met’s South East BCU Safeguarding team is on the lookout for 25-year-old Omer Dos Reis, wanted for assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and malicious communications. Dos Reis, a Portuguese national, is wanted over a violent attack on a woman in June 2018.
Brutal Attack Details Surface
Dos Reis allegedly struck the victim with a broom before attempting to strangle her. He went on to threaten the same woman, who he knows personally. Police are desperate to track him down.
Description of Dos Reis
- Age: 25
- Nationality: Portuguese
- Height: Around 5ft 5ins
- Appearance: Cropped black hair, pierced ears
- Distinctive tattoos: Two black stars on his collarbone
Police Plea
“We want anyone who recognises Dos Reis or knows where he is to get in touch,” said Detective Sergeant Sam Bennett. “Please call 999 immediately and quote CAD 7246/25Jun18. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
