A bungling burglar caught red-handed outside The Lyberry bar has been pinched after an early morning raid at The Astoria nightclub.
Dozy Thief Nabbed on the Spot
Sharp-eyed club management spotted the sleepy crook loitering outside The Lyberry. Door staff quickly detained him. Wearing a bodycam, security caught his full confession to the break-in.
£2,000 Stolen, £5,000 Damage
The dim-witted crook forced open tills but found no cash inside. He made off with over £2,000 worth of premium stock. Club manager Alistair Ritchie revealed the total damage, including lost stock, tops £5,000.
Clueless Burglar in Custody
