Drink Driver Crashes and Rolls Car on M20 – Released Pending Probe
A suspected drink driver who flipped his car on the M20 at Lenham has been released while police carry out further inquiries.
Crash Causes Road Closure
Kent Roads Policing officers were called to a crash on the M20 coastbound between Junctions 8 and 9 at around 10.05pm on Sunday, 2 February 2020. The car overturned, forcing the road to shut temporarily.
Driver Arrested and Released
A 27-year-old man from Ashford was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving at the scene. According to a Kent Police spokesperson, he has now been released pending further investigation.
No Serious Injuries Reported
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported following the dramatic rollover.
