Suspected Drink-Driver Crashes on M20, Released After Arrest
A man suspected of drink-driving rolled his car on the M20 near Lenham, sparking a crackdown by Kent police. The motorway was shut for a time as officers dealt with the crash.
Crash Details and Arrest
Kent Police were called at around 10:05pm on Sunday, 2 February 2020, after a vehicle overturned on the coastbound M20 between Junctions 8 and 9. Officers arrested a 27-year-old Ashford man on suspicion of drink-driving.
Released Pending Investigation
The man has since been released while police carry out further inquiries. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported from the smash.
