Drugs bust in Worksop nets stash of crack cocaine and cash!
Early Morning Raid Strikes Big Blow to Drug Trade
Just before 9am today, police swooped on a Primrose Way property in Worksop, acting on solid intelligence. The forced entry uncovered a sizable haul, including a hefty sum of cash and a large quantity of suspected crack cocaine.
Three Arrested, Still in Custody
Officers arrested three suspects on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply: a 29-year-old woman, a 22-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy. All three remain in police custody as investigations continue.
Community Safety Pledge
“Drug-related crime is a blight on our community,” said Inspector Hayley Crawford, Bassetlaw’s district commander. “The trade in these substances harms vulnerable people and fuels offences like thefts and burglaries. That’s why we’re conducting regular early morning raids on suspected dealers.”
“These operations are only possible thanks to excellent intelligence. We urge residents to report any suspicious behaviour immediately.”
