An 80-year-old pensioner was left shaken and injured after a violent mugging on Waverley Road, Liverpool, on Tuesday, 18 March 2025. The elderly woman was followed all the way from Lark Lane before being threatened and robbed of her handbag. The full extent of her injuries has not been revealed.

“We are very keen to speak with the person featured in the images to help with our enquiries. This was a traumatic experience for the victim, and we are working hard to ensure that the person responsible is identified,” said Detective Inspector Christopher Carlin, leading the case.
