Tragedy struck in Northfleet when 11-year-old Szymon, a pupil at Northfleet Technology College, was fatally hit by a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus. The horror unfolded on Vale Road near the junction with Colyer Road and Park Avenue.
Police Nab Teen Suspect in Fatal Collision
Kent Police swiftly arrested a teenager from Gravesend on suspicion of manslaughter following the crash. Emergency services rushed Szymon to hospital, but the young boy sadly later died. His family has been informed.
