Teen Arrested After Schoolboy Szymon Killed in Minibus Crash
A teenage boy from Gravesend is in police custody suspected of manslaughter after a tragic accident claimed the life of schoolboy Szymon.
Szymon, A Pupil at Northfleet Technology College, Fatally Hit
The victim, locally named as Szymon, was a pupil at Northfleet Technology College. He was struck by a white Mercedes Sprinter minibus on Vale Road at around 8.25am on Wednesday, 2 February 2022. The crash happened near the junction with Colyer Road and Park Avenue.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene, But Child Dies at Hospital
Kent Police and ambulance crews arrived quickly and rushed the secondary school-aged boy to hospital. Sadly, he later died from his injuries. His family has been informed.
