Young Man Dies in Brixton Stabbing Horror
A fatal stabbing has rocked Brixton after a man, reportedly named Shaun, was killed in a violent attack near Brixton Underground Station.
Police Called to Scene After 8pm Attack
Officers rushed to the scene at 8.18pm on Wednesday, 21 July, after reports of an assault. They found a man in his early 20s suffering from stab wounds and gave first aid immediately.
London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance teams arrived quickly, but despite their best efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at 8.45pm on the spot.
Investigation Underway as Arrest Made
The victim’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support. Formal ID is yet to take place, with a post-mortem scheduled for the near future.
A man was arrested close to the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. The area remains taped off while detectives from the Specialist Crime Command carry out inquiries.
