Donald Trump Shot in Ear During Shocking Pennsylvania Rally Attack

Gunman Killed; Bystander Also Dies

The attacker, spotted bear crawling on a nearby rooftop with a rifle, opened fire around 6:15 PM on Saturday, sending the crowd into chaos. The shooter and a member of the crowd were both killed, while two others remain critically injured. Authorities recovered an AR-style rifle at the scene.

Trump’s Harrowing Account from Hospital

Speaking from hospital, Trump described the moment the bullet tore through his ear. “I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin,” he wrote on his Truth Social account. Despite the injury and bleeding, Trump pumped his fist and shouted “fight, fight, fight” to reassure supporters.

“I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. Much bleeding took place, so I realised then what was happening,” Trump wrote.

Photos captured Trump clutching his bleeding ear as Secret Service agents rushed him to safety. He remains in stable condition at hospital.

Condemnation and Calls for Calm

The incident has sparked outrage, with former President Barack Obama condemning the violence and wishing Trump a speedy recovery. “Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery,” Obama said, urging civility in politics.

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger confirmed the shooter and a bystander died. The investigation continues, but no further details about the gunman or victims have been released.

Trump expressed condolences for the victims’ families and called the attack “incredible” in a country like the US.
