Man Seriously Injured in Brutal Glasgow Attack
Three men barged into a building on Glasgow’s Gartcraig Road around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, and savagely attacked a man. The victim, a 39-year-old, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police Launch Hunt for Hooded Attackers
Officers are treating the violent incident as attempted murder and have launched a full-scale investigation. The suspects are described as three white males, all wearing hoodies, with two sporting face coverings.
“A man has been seriously injured in what we believe to be a targeted attack,” said Detective Inspector Ross Jamieson of Shettleston CID.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Footage
Detective Inspector Jamieson urged anyone in the Gartcraig Road area at the time to come forward. “If you saw the three men or have any small bit of information, please contact us immediately,” he said.
He also called on motorists to check dashcam footage, as it could hold crucial evidence to track down the attackers.
