Hit-and-Run on Whitelegg Way Sparks Police Appeal

A crash involving a black Vauxhall Grandland and a small white van shook Whitelegg Way near Wimborne Road at around 1pm on Friday, 3 June 2022.

Van Flees Scene After Collision

The driver of the white van reportedly stopped momentarily but then sped off, leaving no contact details behind. The van’s number plate was smashed in the collision.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened, or captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage to please come forward,” said Police Constable Phillip Pearson of Bournemouth Police.

“I’d also like to hear from anyone who has seen a small white van with a damaged number plate in the area since Friday, June 3, 2022.”
