Tragic Motorcycle Crash on A35 Near Axminster Claims Life
A man in his 40s died after a crash involving his motorcycle and a van on the A35 near Taunton Cross, close to Shute, Axminster.
Fatal Collision Details
Police were called just before 11am on Wednesday, June 29, following a two-vehicle smash between a white VW Transporter and a black BMW R1250 GS Adventure bike.
The biker was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency services launched a full forensic investigation to uncover what caused the deadly collision.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are urging anyone who was driving in the area on June 29, or even before, to share any dashcam footage that could help with the inquiry.

Man Arrested Over Death by Dangerous Driving
A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
