Emergency services rushed to a chaotic car gathering in Portsmouth late on January 28 after multiple injuries were reported. The driver, just 17 and with only three weeks behind the wheel, lost control, leaving a trail of hurt in their wake.
Young Girl Seriously Hurt but Stable
Four people were injured during the illegal meet, with a young girl suffering the worst injuries. She remains in hospital but is now stable and receiving care, supported by her family. Several others were thrown down the road in the incident.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Footage
Officers from the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary are urgently appealing for witnesses to come forward. They especially want any dashcam or mobile phone video from the scene to help piece together what happened.
