Two Teen Girls Stabbed in Shocking South London Attack
Police were scrambled at 4.41pm on Sunday, 25 April after reports of a stabbing on Norwood Road, SE27.
Emergency services rushed to the scene where two teenage girls, aged 16 and 17, were found with stab wounds. Both were rushed to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.
The younger victim remains in serious but stable condition. The second girl’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Four Teens Arrested Over Brutal Assault
Officers quickly arrested four boys aged 16 and 17 on suspicion of attempted murder. Two were caught near the scene, while the others were later detained at homes in Lambeth.
Detective Sergeant Rob Merrett from the Central South Command Unit said: “This is a shocking incident involving two young female victims, one seriously ill in hospital. It has understandably caused alarm in the community.”
He added: “We’re conducting a thorough investigation to uncover what led to this unacceptable violence. We urge anyone with information, photos or video to come forward immediately.”

Police have set up a crime scene on Norwood Road as they continue enquiries. The victims are known to each other and their families have been informed.
