A shocking incident unfolded on High Road, Dagenham, near Whalesboirne Lane last night. A brave good Samaritan got caught up in a car crash while trying to help a woman caught in a domestic violence attack.

Attempt to Rescue Sparks Fiery Crash

The drama kicked off just after 10.20pm on Friday, 1st November 2024. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a Peugeot overturned at the busy junction of High Road and Welbourne Road. Eyewitnesses say the car had crashed while trying to flee the area.

An anonymous bystander revealed how his sister jumped into action after spotting a woman being attacked by a man. She quickly got the distressed victim into her car and tried to speed away from the scene.

But disaster struck when their vehicle was hit, flipping over and leaving onlookers stunned.

Emergency Crews Race to Rescue

Police, paramedics, and fire crews arrived swiftly. They secured the wreck and treated those involved. Thankfully, no serious injuries have been reported so far, thanks to the rapid response of the emergency teams.
