Firefighter Jasper Taylor Gears Up for Gritty Cycle Challenge in Full Kit
Local firefighter and fundraising legend Jasper Taylor is set to pedal through pain to support two great causes. Jasper will tackle a series of static cycle challenges dressed head-to-toe in full firefighter gear — including breathing apparatus — to raise cash for the Firefighters Charity and the Lord Mayor’s charity appeal, which supports the Elizabeth Foundation, Headway Portsmouth, and Veterans Outreach Support.
Jasper’s Fiery Fitness Feats
- Each static cycle session will cover a whopping 50 miles—no easy ride when weighed down in heavy kit and breathing gear.
- Four heart-pounding challenges are lined up throughout August and early September, all taking place at popular Portsmouth spots.

- Challenge 1: Monday 14th August at Morrison’s Victory Park, Portsmouth
- Challenge 2: Thursday 24th August at 1 Fratton
- Challenge 3: Wednesday 30th August at Asda Fratton
- Challenge 4: Friday 1st September at Tesco Fratton
