Authorities say they won’t stand for it. There’s a robust plan in place, with extra resources targeted at bringing chaos-causing drivers to book.

  • Seizing vehicles involved in illegal behaviour
  • Issuing penalty notices
  • Notifying companies over dodgy car mods
  • Serving dispersal orders to shut down troublemakers

Officers will use mobile and static cameras, plus drones, to catch offenders and gather evidence – even after the event.

Acting Superintendent Issues Stark Warning

“The public’s safety is always our priority and we will take any action necessary to put a stop to dangerous driving, risky manoeuvres and any associated anti-social behaviour,” said Acting Superintendent Ricky Dhanda.

“If you drive dangerously – speeding, racing, or drifting close to bystanders – we can seize your car and arrest you. Don’t take that risk.”

“If you see this behaviour, report it. Don’t let a few rogues spoil it for the law-abiding majority.”
