Serious Cyclist Crash in Hove Sparks Police Probe
A 36-year-old cyclist is fighting for recovery after a nasty late-night smash in Hove. The crash happened at the busy junction of Church Road and Grand Avenue just before midnight on Sunday, 8 June.
Man Hospitalised After Collision with Car
The cyclist, a local Brighton man, was rushed to hospital with serious injuries and remains in care. The driver, a 47-year-old man from Newhaven behind the wheel of a blue Kia Sportage, walked away unhurt. Sussex Police are handling the case.

Sussex Police have launched Operation Snowbeach to crack open the crash investigation. They’re calling on anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV, or eyewitness accounts to step forward. Locals – especially businesses and residents nearby – are urged to check their cameras.
