Burglars struck while the homeowner was gardening in Wittersham, stealing a haul of valuables between 4pm and 5.30pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Bling and Cutlery Nabbed in Daylight Raid
Thieves made off with cash from a purse, a diamond and ruby brooch, a pocket watch in a brown leather case, and a gold-plated wristwatch. But that’s not all – they also swiped a unique set of cutlery marked with HM King insignia.
Rare Cutlery Collection Stolen
The stolen cutlery includes dinner forks, tablespoons, dessert spoons, knives, a cake slice, a trefid spoon, plus six cake knives and cake forks. This prized collection is easily recognisable and valuable.
