Serious Crash on Queenborough Road Sparks Arrest

A red Vauxhall Astra and a grey Peugeot 2008 collided on Queenborough Road, Halfway, at around 7.40pm on Saturday 20 July.

Passengers Hospitalised After Collision

Emergency services, including patrols, South East Coast Ambulance, and Kent Fire and Rescue, rushed to the scene. The driver of the Vauxhall had already fled before help arrived.

A female passenger in the Peugeot was rushed to a London hospital and remains in a serious condition. Two men from the same car were treated locally.

Suspect in 20s Arrested and Bailed

A man in his 20s, local to the area, was arrested later that evening in connection with the crash. He has been bailed to return to police as investigations continue.

Police Urge Witnesses and Dashcam Owners to Speak Out

Officers are calling on anyone who saw the collision and hasn’t yet spoken to the police to get in touch on 01795 419119, quoting reference 46/120410/24.

Motorists with dashcam footage and residents with CCTV are also urged to check their recordings for any relevant evidence.
