Unique Hooded Top Could Help Crack Folkestone Arson Case!
Kent Police are hunting for a mystery figure spotted wearing a very distinctive hooded top near the scene of a suspected arson in Folkestone.
Blaze Breaks Out in Richmond Street
The emergency services were scrambled at 2.20am on Tuesday 25 February 2020 after a fire broke out at a property on Richmond Street.
Firefighters quickly contained the flames to the front door, but two residents were rushed to hospital as a precaution for smoke inhalation.
Police Seek Hooded Suspect
Detective Constable Kay Brown said: “We want to identify the person wearing this unusual hooded top seen nearby. Their unique clothing could jog memories and help our investigation.”
DC Brown added that although the suspect’s face isn’t visible, the design of the top is so distinctive it should stand out to anyone who spotted it.

Investigators are also appealing for any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area between 1.30am and 2.45am on that day.
