Man Found Dead as Two Others Fight for Life in Suspected Drug Horror
Police rushed to a home on Bradford Road today after a 40-year-old man was found dead. Two other men were rushed to hospital, both in critical condition.
Deadly ‘Rogue’ Drug Batch Suspected
Authorities have not confirmed the cause of death but warned the public about a dangerous rogue batch of drugs possibly on the streets. DI Simon Reddington of Kirklees District CID said:
“We are still investigating. We can’t rule out that this tragic death and the serious illness of the others are linked to a rogue batch of illegal drugs.”
“This could include cannabis edibles.”
“I urge everyone to think twice before using illegal substances. The risks are real, and no drug is safe.”
“Users often don’t know exactly what they’re taking, the possible effects, or its source.”
