A woman has been arrested following a terrifying multi-vehicle crash on the M1 that left four people injured. One woman was so badly hurt she had to be airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Police confirmed five vehicles were involved: a white Ford Fiesta, a skip loader, a blue Mini Cooper, a black Ford Focus, and a black Volvo XC90. Eyewitnesses reported a chaotic scene with emergency services flooding the area.

Woman Behind Wheel Arrested for Dangerous Driving

The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a woman, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Emergency crews rushed to the scene to treat four injured victims; one was seriously hurt and airlifted to hospital.
