Urgent Appeal: Missing 10-Year-Old Girl Vanishes After School in Enfield

Shanila Buffonge, 10, disappeared after leaving her primary school in Enfield at around 3:20pm on Tuesday, June 5. A teacher last saw her walking away from Main Avenue school, but Shanila never reached her relative’s house on Worcesters Avenue — a trip she usually makes without trouble.

Last Seen in School Uniform

Shanila is a slim Black girl, dressed in her school uniform: grey skirt, white polo shirt, black tights, and a black jacket decorated with flowers. She was carrying a distinctive fluffy, multicoloured bag.

Could You Spot Her on the Bus?

Shanila often takes the bus along routes 121, 217, 231, or 617 between school and the relative’s house. Despite her usual routine, she has never been reported missing before, making this disappearance especially worrying.

How You Can Help Find Shanila

  • If you’ve seen Shanila or know where she is, contact Enfield CID immediately on 07887 833 965.
  • You can also call the police at 101, quoting reference 18MIS022271.
  • Alternatively, reach out to the charity Missing People on 116 000.

The clock is ticking — any information could be crucial in bringing Shanila home safely.
