Police Rush to Twyford Avenue Incident

At 6.45pm yesterday, Hampshire police were called to Twyford Avenue in Stamshaw after reports of a man waving what looked like a firearm. Officers acted fast, deploying an armed response unit to keep the public safe.

Imitation Weapon Seized, Suspect Arrested

The police swooped on a home in the area and confiscated a fake gun. A 35-year-old Portsmouth man was arrested on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm in a public place. Police are treating the case with the utmost seriousness.
